How it Tastes

Freshly roasted for peak flavor

Whether you prefer a moka pot or a pour over, each roast has been carefully curated to match your brewing methods.

Seeking something bold to match your endurance training? We've got it. Pairing light roast doppio to your recovery day. Say no more.

Our trio of roasts bring your taste to the forefront to fuel your day forward.

How it tastes

Great coffee first.

Before anything else, Neucaff has to be coffee you’d drink for the taste alone. CPX is what makes it perform. Everything below is what makes it delicious.

Where it grows

Single-origin Colombia.

Every Neucaff roast starts as specialty-grade coffee from Colombia, grown at 1,200 to 2,000+ meters on volcanic soil. That altitude and soil produce beans with the clarity, balance and natural sweetness you taste in the cup.

Specialty grade means the coffee scores 80 points or more on the Specialty Coffee Association’s 100-point scale. It’s the same standard the best cafes buy to.

How it’s decaffeinated

The sugarcane process.

We decaffeinate with ethyl acetate made from fermented sugarcane, the same compound found naturally in ripe fruit. The green beans are gently washed in water and sugarcane EA, which lifts the caffeine out and leaves the body, sweetness and aroma behind.

The beans are then steamed, so what’s left is typically under 2 parts per million. We never use methylene chloride.

Three roasts. Light to dark.

Dark roast

Toasted nuts, dark chocolate. Bold and robust.

What we hold ourselves to.

Tested, every time

Our green coffee is tested for mycotoxins, including ochratoxin A, by accredited third-party labs. Every batch of CPX is lab tested for purity and potency.

Fewer miles

Decaffeination and CPX infusion both happen in Colombia, so the beans make one trip instead of several before they reach the roaster.

Fresh by design

We roast and ship as close together as we can, and pack every roast in a recyclable metal tin that keeps it fresh.

Recognized

Best New Product, Specialty Coffee Association.
